Researcher appointment processes at METU are carried out through five programs. Review the programs below and, where applicable, access the relevant forms, directives and procedure documents.
CONTRACT RESEARCHER PROGRAM
YÖK-DOSAP
YÖK-DOSAP enables postdoctoral researchers to work under the supervision of a METU faculty member within an active project that has at least 12 months remaining as of the application date. Appointments may last for a maximum of three years.
The program is open to applications while active and subject to the available quota. International researchers are not eligible for YÖK-DOSAP.
ELIGIBILITY
POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH PROGRAM
DOSAP
DOSAP enables researchers holding a doctoral degree to conduct research at METU for a temporary period under the supervision of a METU faculty member. Researchers employed by a university, public or private institution, as well as those who are not employed, may apply. No financial support is provided within the program.

Annex-46 Qualified Researcher Program
The program covers the part-time appointment of qualified researchers of Turkish or foreign nationality who hold a doctoral degree. Applications are initiated through the academic unit where the researcher intends to work and proceed through the relevant institutional approval stages.
